Security

This page says what is true today, and nothing more. Sentry’s interview product hasn’t launched, so for now it covers this website and requests to book a call.

What exists today

Today Sentry is this website and its booking form. The interview product hasn’t launched, so no interview recordings exist and nothing is stored for them yet.

How this website is protected

  • All traffic uses HTTPS, and browsers are told to refuse unencrypted connections.
  • Security headers limit which scripts can run and stop other sites from framing these pages.
  • There are no accounts or passwords on this website, and it has no database of its own.
  • Sentry’s own pages set no cookies and load no analytics or tracking scripts.
  • The booking form checks what it receives and limits how many requests one address can send.

Where your details go

A call request goes to the providers named in the Privacy Policy, which handle hosting, email, scheduling and the call itself. They store it in the United States or worldwide, not in Kazakhstan or Russia.

How we run it

  • Two-factor authentication is on for the accounts that run this website.
  • Secret keys are kept in our hosting provider’s settings, not in the code.
  • We get automatic alerts about known vulnerabilities in the software we use.

The interview product

Security measures for interview data will be published here before the product launches. Interview data will be kept for 30 days by default and 90 days at most, and the hiring company can delete it sooner.

What we don’t claim

Sentry has no security certification, and no independent audit has been done yet. We will say so here when that changes.

Report a problem

If you find a security problem, write to support@sentryhire.net. Please don’t access other people’s data or disrupt the service while testing.
